Facemount muzzle devices are designed for barrels that lack a proper shoulder like the most AKs, PSA AKV, Tavor/X95, VZ 61, some SCAR 16s, and others. They are not intended to be used on barrels with a standard shoulder like the AR15.
Please note that facemount devices only sit 0.50" over the barrel (see images). Depending on barrel geometry, there may be exposed thread at the base. This is cosmetic only and does not affect function.
The FHC™ is a compact flash hider compatible with common .900″-24 adapters like the Comstock Armory LPA, Q Plan-B, and Rearden Atlas. Unlike most flash hiders out there, the FHC is designed to redirect expanding gasses outwards which significantly reduces blast baffle wear.
