I have some new prototypes to share today! These are all things that are actively being worked on and expected to be finished up at various points over the next few months.

Note that the samples are uncoated, but production parts will all have our usual black finish.

CAT QD/1-16 and Xeno compatible mounting parts

We’ve had a bunch of requests for this. We’re starting out with our RPA and recessed micro brake and will expand into other parts (flash hiders, more brakes, adapters, etc) for a wide selection. They’ll also be added to the fitment charts and interactive tool on release so you can check compatibility with your build.

Plan-B compact recessed 4-Prongs

This is something we showed prototypes of previously, but at this point we’ve nailed down our final design. The recessed 4-prongs are a great option for users who like the flash suppression of the current full size 4-Prong, but would prefer a more compact package. Our initial testing shows that these are quite effective even with the reduced prong length. Like the original 4-Prong, we’re using mass shifted tines to avoid the ringing noise that you otherwise get in a pronged flash hider.

Taper shoulder micro brakes

The Sig guys will like this one. These are based on our micro brake and designed to work on taper shoulder barrels without spacers or caps. Feedback showed a preference for the muzzle device to cover most of the barrel taper, so the rear section with the wrench flats is extended to make for a cleaner look. These will be made in 1/2-28, 5/8-24, and M13.5x1 LH (MPX). We’ll also likely add a flash hider version later on.

P90/PS90 micro brakes

This is another thing we’ve had requests for. Like the previous parts, these are also going to be in our micro brake style. But based on demand, we may also do a more traditional P90 muzzle device for the people who prefer that style.

Web updates and product finder tool

Individual product pages now show dealer inventory at the top, automatically sorted by highest quantity available. There’s buttons to expand the whole list or add to the product finder. The new product finder page can be used to create a list and filter dealer inventories for everything you’re looking for. This is especially helpful if you have several different items you’re looking for and want to get it all from one place to save on shipping costs.

As an important note, the product finder only includes dealers who order from us directly. There are other places that carry our parts but will not show up in the finder since they buy through our distributor network.

The fitment tool now saves the current settings into the URL and has a “Share Configuration” button which lets you send it to other people. If you have questions about a setup, feel free to send that to me so I can see exactly what we’re working with!

It also has an “Add to Finder” button which takes you to the product finder page and sets filters from your configuration. You may still have to select for material or caliber, but this makes it easier to know you’re getting the intended parts.

Quick note on the fitment tool: If you’re going for a tight gap (<0.10” between the handguard and adapter), I would highly recommend double checking the true length since some handguards are longer or shorter than nominal. Make sure the dimension for “Barrel shoulder to handguard end” is the same as the actual gun. If it’s different, you can adjust the handguard length in the model to match. Digital calipers are helpful for getting an accurate measurement.

That’s everything for now! As always, the support is greatly appreciated!
